The Oscars Film Festival 2026 will honour the Academy Award-nominated films that bring some of the most acclaimed films in the world to Indian audiences. It is presented by PVR INOX Limited, the country's biggest movie theatre operator.
In collaboration with top international studios, the festival will begin in late February and run through March 16 in anticipation of the 98th Academy Awards. It will show films at a few PVR INOX theatres in major cities.
One Battle After Another, Sinners, Frankenstein, Marty Supreme, The Secret Agent, Bugonia, F1, Train Dreams, and Hamnet are among the impressive list of Best Picture nominees that PVR INOX will showcase at the Oscars Film Festival 2026.
The depth and diversity of narrative acknowledged by the Academy this year are reflected in these films, which span a wide range of genres and creative voices.
The festival will screen 15 Oscar-nominated films at 58 theatres. 23 cities—Bengaluru, Goa, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Mysore, Pune, Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Indore, Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, Jaipur, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and Rourkela.
Additionally, a few of these films gained early traction at the 2026 Golden Globes. Major awards were the films Hamnet and One Battle After Another, while top acting honours went to Wagner Moura and Jessie Buckley for their performances.
