Sukumar, the renowned director behind the Pushpa franchise, has shared his first review of Game Changer, the highly anticipated film starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani. Speaking at the film's promotional event in Dallas, Sukumar revealed his excitement and admiration for Ram Charan’s performance, predicting that the actor's portrayal in the movie could earn him a National Award.

Sukumar, who had the opportunity to watch Game Changer alongside legendary actor Chiranjeevi, was quick to share his enthusiasm with the audience. "I will tell you a secret. I watched this film with Chiranjeevi sir, Game Changer. So, I want to give the first review. First half, awesome. Interval, blockbuster. Trust me. Second half, the flashback episode gave me goosebumps, phenomenal. I enjoyed it as much as Shankar’s Gentleman and Bharateeyudu (Indian)," Sukumar gushed.

The director, known for his meticulous attention to detail and strong emotional storytelling, emphasized the powerful impact the film had on him. "The way he essayed emotions in the film’s climax, I got the feeling again. He performed so well, he will definitely get a National Award for it," Sukumar added. His comparison to Rangasthalam—a film for which many, including Sukumar himself, expected Charan to win a National Award—speaks volumes about the actor's craft and the intensity of his performance in Game Changer.

Sukumar described Charan as more than just a colleague: “I love every hero who works with me because we have worked together for at least 3 years. But when the film is released, I don’t stay in touch with most of them. Charan is the only exception because we stayed in touch even after Rangasthalam. He is my brother; I love him more than anything. We often meet and discuss various things.” This enduring friendship adds another layer to their collaboration, with Sukumar clearly cherishing their bond both professionally and personally.

While Sukumar is gearing up for his next big project with Ram Charan, his most recent venture, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has also garnered widespread success. The film, starring Allu Arjun, has shattered box office records and has received glowing reviews from both critics and audiences. However, the film's success has been overshadowed by a tragic incident that occurred during a promotional event in Hyderabad. A stampede caused by Allu Arjun's unannounced appearance at a benefit show resulted in the death of a fan, and the victim's child remains in critical condition in the ICU.

Allu Arjun was arrested but has since been released on interim bail. The actor has promised financial assistance to the victim's family, while he denies any direct involvement in the tragedy. The police have stated that the actor’s unexpected visit led to a frenzy, which escalated into the tragic incident. Despite the controversy, Pushpa 2 continues to dominate the box office and remains a cultural phenomenon.
