Panchayat Season 4 will release tomorrow

Chandan Roy’s comedy political drama Panchayat Season 4 release is at the door, and fans are eagerly waiting to see how things will unfold in the new season and who has actually shot Pradhanji. Additionally, the upcoming Panchayat election will also make the new season dramatic and entertaining.

However, just before the new season, here’s a recap of the previous season.

Panchayat Season 1

The Prime Video series kicked off with Jitendra Kumar’s character, Abhishek Tripathi, a fresh engineering graduate, who left disappointed after he was temporarily appointed as a Panchayat Secretary in Phulera village.

He has high dreams and wants to pursue an MBA at one of the IIMs. While he focuses on his studies, he misses his friends from the town, and that’s when Pradhanji, Prahalad and Vikas gathered for a drink and created a lifetime memory as well as friends.

His temporary stay has been extended as he faces several issues with the village’s political system and a lack of basic facilities. He juggles with different responsibilities and has failed his CAT exam, and decides to give up until someone inspires him to retake it.

Panchayat Season 2

The panchayat secretary, Abhishek Tripathi, returned to Phulera for his second year. In the meantime, a fresh political rivalry begins. In an attempt to gain favor with the villagers, a local couple, Bhushan and Kranti Devi, challenge Pradhan Ji, aka Manju Devi and her husband, Brij Bhushan.

Additionally, Abhishek begins to form stronger bonds with the villagers, particularly with the families of Vikas, Prahlad, and Pradhan Ji. Abhishek and Rinki, Pradhan Ji's daughter, are developing a gentle, unsaid bond.

The season concluded with an emotional plotline as Prahlad's soldier son died while serving his country. The whole village mourned the loss. Prahlad got depressed with the major loss, and the entire village rallied around him during his time of sorrow.

Panchayat Season 3

Panchayat Season 3 starts with Bhushan collaborating with the recently freed MLA Chandrakishore Singh, and the heat in the village ignites. A peace meeting takes an unfortunate turn when Singh lets slip that he kills a pigeon, a peace offering meant to foster goodwill. This causes further destruction to his reputation, and he is advised to sell his beloved horse to sidestep the possibility of people being outraged against him for animal cruelty.

Meanwhile, while Abhishek is in Kanpur for his CAT exam, he hears shocking news: masked attackers open fire at the Phulera bus stand, leaving Pradhan ji seriously injured. Abhishek races back, is confronted by goons associated with Chandrakishore Singh, and ends up getting arrested for it, leaving the season on a huge cliffhanger.

Ahead of the Phulera elections, season 4 is going to be the most dramatic yet, with political tussles between Manju Devi (Neena Gupta) and Kranti Devi (Sunita Rajwar), as well as a possible twist with the relationships between Abhishek and Rinki.

Panchayat Season 4 will premiere on June 24 on Amazon Prime Video.
