As several celebrities across India have expressed their condolences to the victims of the horrifying terror attack in Kashmir's Pahalgam recently which claimed the lives of 26 innocent people, Pakistani artists including Fawad Khan, Mawra Hocane and Hania Aamir have also condemned the attack.
Fawad Khan took to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday and extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families. He wrote, "Deeply saddened to hear the news of the heinous attack in Pahalgam. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this horrifying incident and we pray for strength and healing for their families in this difficult time".
Fawad, who is set to make his Bollywood comeback with the film Abir Gulaal alongside Vaani Kapoor, is currently facing lot of criticisms as people are demanding ban of the film amidst ongoing political tension between India and Pakistan.
Hania Aamir, widely admired by audiences in India and across the globe, voiced her sorrow over the tragic incident, emphasizing that acts of terror, regardless of where they occur—are a shared pain, taking to Instagram Stories, she penned, “Tragedy anywhere is a tragedy for all of us. My heart is with the innocent lives affected by the recent events. In pain, in grief, and in hope—we are one. When innocent lives are lost, the pain is not theirs alone—it belongs to all of us. No matter where we come from, grief speaks the same language. May we choose humanity, always."
Mawra Hocane who made her Bollywood debut with Sanam Teri Kasam in 2016 wrote, "My deepest condolences to the affected families... An act of terrorism against one is terrorism against all...What’s happening to the world”.
Several Pakistani artists, including actors Usama Khan and Farhan Saeed, have expressed their condolences and solidarity in the wake of the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam. Taking to social media, both stars shared messages mourning the loss of innocent lives and extended their support to the victims and their families during this difficult time.
