But what if the truth is hidden behind a wall of secrets?" This intriguing question adds to the anticipation of the series, which is set to premiere soon on SonyLiv. The series' tagline, "Secrets are injurious to hold," hints at the intense and secretive nature of the plot.
The show features a stellar cast, including actors like Purab Kohli, Shruti Seth, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Sharib Hashmi, Amruta Khanvilkar, Sushant Divgikar, and many others. Directed by Vishal Furia, who is known for his work on the horror release 'Chhorii', '36 Days' is produced by The Applause Entertainment and BBC Studios India. The series is an official Indian remake of the Welsh drama '35 Days'.
Amruta Khanvilkar, who is part of the ensemble cast, shared her excitement about the project. She is known for her roles in Bollywood projects and has a significant following on social media. In '36 Days', Amruta plays a Marathi character, a role she finds unique compared to her previous work.
She said, "Amruta Khanvilkar shared her thoughts on her new project, '36 Days', For the first time, I am playing the role of a Marathi girl in a Hindi project, and this character is definitely different from my usual roles. Vishal Furia, who is a good friend of mine, directed this series, and working with him on this project was a special opportunity. We shot the series over 30 to 40 days in Goa, which was an incredible experience for me. I got to work closely with talented actors like Sharib Hashmi. In '36 Days', my character and Sharib's character are on opposing sides, and these roles are very unique and challenging."
