One of the most significant nominations this year is for Anuja, a short film produced by Guneet Monga and Priyanka Chopra, which has secured a historic spot in the Best Live Action Short Film category.

If Guneet Monga wins another Oscar, she will join the ranks of AR Rahman as the second Indian to win two Oscars. Rahman achieved this feat in 2009, winning both Best Original Song and Best Original Score.

Timothée Chalamet and Adrien Brody are strong contenders for Best Actor, while Cynthia Erivo, Karla Sofía Gascón, Demi Moore, Fernanda Torres, and Mikey Madison are up for Best Actress.

The evening will also feature a star-studded lineup of presenters, including Oprah Winfrey, Emma Stone, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., and Zoe Saldaña, among others, adding even more glamour to the ceremony.

In addition to the prestigious awards, the Oscars 2025 will feature special performances, making the night even more memorable.
