Orlando Bloom and Nick Mohammed share a screen space in Deep Cover

Orlando Bloom and Nick Mohammed Rave are collaborating for Prime Video’s upcoming action comedy, Deep Cover. The announcement of the film has already created a buzz among the fans, especially for its genre-bending premise.

Fans are eagerly waiting to stream the project, and the cast members of the film, Orlando Bloom and Nick Mohammed, tease their characters.

Both actors have praised the script, penned by Ben Ashenden and Alex Owen, for blending character-driven comedy with undercover mayhem in a way that keeps things fresh, fast, and funny.

Nick Mohammed, who plays the role of Hugh, complimented the writers and said, “There were so many little moments in the show, and it is just so wonderfully written or adapted by Ben and Alex, who wrote this sharp script. Everything's in the writing. It was all there already.”

Meanwhile, Orlando Bloom, who transforms from washed-up actor Marlon into chaotic gangster Roach, teases the film’s plot and noted, “It was all sort of executed because the writing was so good. The premise was so funny. You know, it's easy to take yourself too seriously, right?”

He added, “But it's very funny when you see somebody taking themselves too seriously. And so that was an easy win for me and my character. Marlon is just like this out-of-work actor, and then he turns into Roach, this Mancunian lunatic who is deep cover and takes it all too seriously.”

“And Nick's Hugh, he's like the squire, we used to call him that, and he's like the most dangerous, but the most unlikely dangerous. The premise and the way that the script came together was just excellent,” Bloom further noted.

Directed by Tom Kingsley, the upcoming film also stars Bryce Dallas Howard in the lead role. The film revolves around three improv actors who go undercover in London’s criminal underworld.

Deep Cove will stream exclusively on Prime Video from June 12 in English and Hindi.
