K Pop singer Park Bo Ram passed away, at the age of 30, on Thursday.

Popular K Pop singer Park Bo Ram died at the age of 30 on Thursday (April 11), confirmed Xanadu Entertainment. The police are investigating the cause of the death.

The noted singer was reportedly drinking at her friend's house in Korea. It is said that her friend got worried when Park didn't come out of the bathroom for long. Her friend expressed concern and went to check on her.

According to reports, Park Bo Ram was "found unconscious in the bathroom of her friend's home. That's when her friend called 119 and reportedly also initiated CPR on her."

Reports suggest that the songwriter and actor collapsed in the bathroom and could not be revived.
The police investigation is under way, and the cause of the death is being probed.

According to news reports, Park Bo Ram was working on two new songs, which she planned to release later this year.

Park Bo Ram was a known name in the K-pop industry. She made her debut as a singer at the age of 17 when she participated in a singing competition titled 'Super Star K2' (2010).

At the time of the competition, she was in high school and was one of the finalists. She finished in eighth place in that reality singing show.

She made her official music debut in 2014 with her single 'Beautiful'. The song was a hit, and she went on to win the Artist of the Year award at the 2014 Gaon Chart Music Awards.

The following year, in 2015, Park Bo Ram released 'Celepretty'. Some of her famous songs are 'Hyehwadong' for the K-drama 'Reply 1988' and 'Please Say Something Even Though I Know It's a Lie', to name a few.

It was earlier this month, on April 3, that Park released her new single 'I Miss You', which has 211K views on YouTube.

She was planning to release new songs to celebrate her decade in the K-pop music industry.
