Sushant Singh Rajput’s niece turns 16, sister Shweta Singh Kriti writes: 'I wish you were here to celebrate your niece’s milestone'

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s niece turned 16 recently, and his sister, Shweta Singh Kriti, who stays in the US with her family, shared a series of pictures from the birthday celebrations of her daughter.

Shweta, who was very close to her late brother, wrote a long note missing her ‘bhai’ and also said when she was missing him the most, his song ‘Jaan Nissar started playing on its own, reminding us of your ever-present spirit.’

In the pictures and videos shared from her home in the US, her husband is seen feeding his daughter Freyjaa a piece of cake. Also seen are her friends having fun at the home party.

“It was Freyjaa’s 16th birthday celebration. Bhai, I wish you were here to celebrate your niece’s milestone with us. However, I know your blessings always surround her, and you’ll forever be her guiding light. Today, as I thought about how wonderful it would have been to have you here during this festivity, your song Jaan Nissar started playing on its own, reminding us of your ever-present spirit. Your presence is profoundly felt. Please bless your niece so that she may embody your qualities and become a beacon of light for many. ️"

One more user wrote, “May all dreams come true. May God bless you with good health as long as you live.”

In February this year, Shweta Singh Kriti said in an interview that she felt her brother Sushant’s presence.

She also spoke about how she dealt with his death and that he still talks to her after his death.

SSR was found hanging in his room on June 14, 2020. It was initially ruled death by suicide, but his family has disputed it, which has led to a CBI investigation.
