Since the 2006 release of the first movie, in which Anne Hathaway's character Andy Sachs fought to survive in the fashion publishing industry under Miranda's fading gaze, fans have been anxiously awaiting a sequel.

Although Hathaway's participation in the follow-up has not been confirmed, Stanley Tucci, a beloved character, playing Nigel, indicates that the movie is paying homage to its history while introducing new characters.
