Aks, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, is a 2001 Hindi-language supernatural action thriller featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Raveena Tandon, and Manoj Bajpayee. Despite mixed reviews and box office failure, the film won three awards at the 47th Filmfare Awards, including Best Actor (Critics) for Bachchan, Special Award Performance for Tandon, and Best Sound Design for Ranjan. Bachchan and Bajpayee were also nominated for Best Actor and Best Villain, respectively.
The film's plot revolves around a cop, Manu Verma, and a shadowy killer, Raghavan. After Raghavan is caught and executed, his spirit possesses Manu's body, leading to a series of manipulative actions. Despite efforts to find peace, Raghavan's spirit remains, possessing Manu's friend at the end.
In other exciting news, Season 3 of The Family Man is confirmed, much to the relief of fans left hanging by the intense Season 2 cliffhanger. Manoj Bajpayee will return in his role as Srikant Tiwari, a secret cell agent, with the new season expected to release next year.
