The animated mythological epic Mahavatar Narsimha has stunned the box office by crossing the Rs 100 crore mark in just 12 days. Ashwin Kumar's film continues to receive overwhelming praise from audiences and industry insiders alike.

The second weekend saw a remarkable upswing, culminating in a Rs 106.05 crore total collection by Day 12.

The animated mythological drama, Mahavatar Narsimha has emerged as a surprise box office juggernaut, crossing the Rs 100 crore mark within just 12 days of its theatrical run.
Both viewers and industry insiders have responded favourably to Ashwin Kumar's film, which has been doing incredibly well nationwide.

According to industry tracker, the film’s growth during its second weekend was particularly noteworthy. It garnered an incredible Rs 23.1 crore on Day 10 (Sunday) alone, demonstrating strong word-of-mouth and ongoing public interest. By the end of its 11th day, the film had already amassed an impressive Rs 98.30 crore net collection in India.

The second weekend saw a remarkable upswing, culminating in a Rs 106.05 crore total collection by Day 12. Its strong performance in both the Hindi and Telugu belts reflects the film’s widespread appeal and growing popularity across linguistic and cultural divides.

Mahavatar Narsimha had a modest start, earning Rs 1.75 crore on Day 1, but quickly picked up steam, with its first Sunday bringing in Rs 9.5 crore. With Rs 44.75 crore at the end of Week 1, the movie maintained its momentum throughout the week. The Hindi version led the charge with Rs 32.45 crore, while Telugu and other regional language versions also contributed significantly.

At the heart of the story is the legendary myth of the demon king Hiranyakashyap, who proclaims himself a god, only to be defied by his devoted son, Prahlad, a steadfast follower of Lord Vishnu. The narrative builds to the divine incarnation of Narasimha — a half-man, half-lion avatar of Vishnu — delivering divine justice.

Ashwin Kumar’s direction has been praised for its compelling storytelling, which combines rich tradition with state-of-the-art visual effects. The film’s release in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada, helped it connect with a broad audience base. Since its debut, Mahavatar Narsimha has enjoyed overwhelmingly positive feedback, establishing itself as a standout success in the mythological genre.
