Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 has already captivated the hearts of the masses. In the recent episode of the show, Kashish Singhal, a 21-year-old contestant, attempted the Rs 1 crore. Unfortunately, she was unable to answer the question and decided to quit.
Kashish Singhal managed to win Rs 50 lakh with her general knowledge skills. But on being asked the question to win Rs 1 crore, she got stuck.
The question was – ‘Which king of the Visigoths demanded pepper, which ancient Rome usually traded from India, as ransom to lift a siege on the city?’
The options were – A) Ludovic, B) Aymeric, C) Alaric and D) Theodoric. Kashish Singhal had only one lifeline left.
She used the Sanket Suchak lifeline for it. However, she remained unsure about the answer. Eventually, she decided to quit the game and took home only Rs 50 lakh.
The correct answer was option C – Alaric. Well, Kashish Singhal managed to win a respectable amount that will help her repay the loan of Rs 15 lakh taken by her father during the family crisis.
While she impressed the host, Amitabh Bachchan, she also narrated an emotional story that left everyone teary-eyed.
Speaking about Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, the game is going to be extra fast this time, as the 16th question will be for Rs 7 crore prize money.
Soon, on the Independence Day special episode, the show will welcome Col Sofiya Qureshi, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Commander Prerna Deosthalee. Col Sofiya and Wing Commander Vyomika were key faces of the media briefings on Operation Sindoor. They carried out the operation in the early hours of May 7 this year to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack.
An understanding between India and Pakistan on May 10 halted the four-day military conflict.
Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 airs on Sony TV from Monday to Friday at 9 pm. It is also available on Sony Liv app.
