The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 was nothing short of entertaining, featuring 7th grader Ishita Gupta from Bengaluru as part of the Kids' Special week.
Host Amitabh Bachchan warmly welcomed the young contestant, who shared how her friends often tease her about her voice, comparing it to a cartoon character. However, Big B turned the moment into an inspiring one by encouraging Ishita to embrace her uniqueness and even inviting her to start the show in his signature style.
Ishita had already won Rs40,000 in the previous episode and confidently continued her journey in the latest one. She encountered a challenging question for Rs3,20,000:
Which of these is an island country? She initially guessed Option C) Oman, but the correct answer was Option A) Bahrain. Realizing her mistake, she wisely used the Gyanastraa lifeline to change the question, selecting her favorite subject—Science.
Her new question was:Livestock animals are responsible for over 10% of the emission of which greenhouse gas responsible for global warming?
Without hesitation, Ishita selected Option C) Methane—and she was right! The studio erupted in applause, and Big B proudly called her “Too Good.”
During the game, Ishita revealed her dream of becoming a cardiologist, not only to help people but also to amass wealth and fame. She openly declared her ambition to be the richest person in the world, owning luxury villas, designer accessories, and high-end cars like Lamborghini, Audi, Rolls-Royce, and BMW.
Amitabh Bachchan, visibly amused, turned his chair away in playful shock, exclaiming, “Ohh Teri, kya baat hai!” He then curiously asked if she knew how expensive those cars were and joked that they required special training to drive. Laughing, he admitted he needed a break to process everything he had just heard!
Ishita continued her impressive run, playing the Super Sandook round and answering six questions correctly, earning an extra Rs60,000. She used her Gyanastraa lifeline again for the Rs12,50,000 question:
According to Hindu mythology, what was the name of Kunti’s father before she was adopted by Kuntibhoja?
She wasn’t sure, so she changed the question. However, before skipping, she took a guess with Option D) Shurasena, which turned out to be correct!
For her new question in Science, she was asked:From which element, with the symbol Pb, does the profession of plumbing get its name?
She confidently selected Option C) Lead—and won Rs12,50,000!
For the Rs25,00,000 question, she faced: Kharai, known for its swimming ability, is a breed of which animal?
Unsure, she used her Audience Poll lifeline and followed the majority’s answer—Option C) Camel—which was correct!
Amidst the intense game, Ishita took a moment to admire Big B’s stylish jacket. Amused, the legendary host joked that he was wondering why she hadn’t complimented him earlier, given her love for fashion. When she insisted on knowing where he got his jackets from, Big B humorously revealed, “Mujhe khud nahi pata! Main toh pyjama-kurta pehen ke aata hoon, yahan aake sarkari kapde mil jaate hain.”
Winning Rs50,00,000 with Her Last LifelineFor the Rs50,00,000 question, Big B asked:According to legend, which ancient Greek dramatist died when a bird dropped a tortoise on his head?
Ishita used her final lifeline, Ask the Expert, and selected Option B) Aeschylus—winning Rs50 lakh!
With nerves of steel, Ishita reached the Rs1 crore question:

Not knowing the answer, she decided to quit the game. Before leaving, she made a guess with Option A) SS Brittany, but the correct answer was Option D) SS Mesaba.
Ishita walked away with an impressive Rs50,00,000, proving that confidence, knowledge, and ambition can take you far—even on the KBC hot seat.
