On Wednesday, the production team shared a behind-the-scenes (BTS) photo featuring the star-studded ensemble cast, which includes Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Dino Morea, Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Chunky Panday, Jackie Shroff, Johnny Lever, Nikitin Dheer, and Ranjeet. The actresses in the film, including Jacqueline Fernandez, Chitrangda Singh, Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma, and Sonam Bajwa, were also spotted in the picture, posing alongside the entire gang.

The Housefull 5 team is having a blast as they wrap up this chapter of their cinematic journey. Akshay Kumar, who has been a part of the Housefull franchise from the very beginning, shared a glimpse of his excitement for the last schedule. He mentioned that they are “cruising through” the final part of the shoot, highlighting the fun atmosphere onboard the cruise. The picture reveals the entire cast in their respective character costumes, and it seems like they’re having a great time together.

This final cruise sequence is significant as it marks the last part of the comedy film, which is slated for release next year. Housefull 5 is particularly special because it will be the first-ever franchise film in Indian cinema to have five installments, making it a milestone for the Bollywood industry. The movie is being directed by Tarun Mansukhani, known for his work in Dostana, and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the man behind the entire Housefull series.

The Housefull series first began in 2010 with the release of the original Housefull movie. The film was a major success and featured an ensemble cast that included Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal, and Boman Irani. Following the success of the first part, the franchise saw its second installment, Housefull 2, released in 2012. This film was another hit, with Akshay, Riteish, John Abraham, Shreyas Talpade, Jacqueline Fernandez, and several others. Both of these films were directed by Sajid Khan.

However, for the third installment of the series, Housefull 3 (2016), the direction was taken over by the duo Sajid Samji and Farhad Samji. This film brought a fresh twist to the series with its reincarnation theme and became a box-office success. The fourth installment, Housefull 4 (2019), directed by Farhad Samji, was yet another hit, revolving around a reincarnation comedy. Now, Housefull 5 is set to continue the franchise's legacy, but with a new director, Tarun Mansukhani.
