Emily in Paris actress Lily Collins is all set to star as Audrey Hepburn in her upcoming film. The film will explore the life of Audrey and the creation of her 1961 hit Breakfast at Tiffany's, which her Case Study Films is working on with producer Scott LaStaiti and Imagine Entertainment.
Emily took to her Instagram and announced her casting as Audrey.
Sharing the picture, she penned in the caption, "It's with almost 10 years of development and a lifetime of admiration and adoration for Audrey that I’m finally able to share this. Honored and ecstatic don’t begin to express how I feel…"
According to Deadline, the film, which is based on Sam Wasson's best-selling book Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M.: Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany's, and the Dawn of the Modern Woman, the first comprehensive account of the film's production, stars Dickinson's Alena Smith.
The cast also includes Truman Capote, Edith Head, director Blake Edwards, and, of course, Hepburn herself.
Sam transports readers to late 1950s America, when a not-so-virginal girl named Holly Golightly made headlines nationwide and permanently altered sex, fashion, and film.
After winning an Oscar for Roman Holiday and starring in other classics like Sabrina and Funny Face, Hepburn became a global fashion and cultural icon and eventually made her way to Paramount's Breakfast at Tiffany's, a romantic comedy based on Truman Capote's novella and directed by Blake Edwards.

Her character, Holly Golightly, is a young socialite from New York who develops feelings for a young man who lives in her apartment complex, but her past puts their relationship in jeopardy. The film won two Oscars, in Score and Song, and was nominated for five, with Hepburn competing for Best Actress. In 2012, it was added to the U.S. National Film Registry.
Hepburn for Imagine will be produced by Brian Grazer, Jeb Brody, and Justin Wilkes, with Joyce Choi managing development and Marc Gilbar acting as executive producer. LaStaiti will collaborate with Collins, Charlie McDowell, and Alex Orlovsky to make Case Study Films. Felix Farmer Productions will be executive produced by Michael Shamberg, Sam Wasson, and Brandon Millan.
Lily is also currently busy with the new season of the popular romantic comedy dramedy Emily in Paris on Netflix, which is produced by the Imagine Entertainment company Jax Media. The show returned for its fifth season in December and was just renewed for a sixth.
In November 2022, Lily started Case Study with McDowell and Orlovsky. She will star and produce alongside Mattel and Hello Sunshine in the most recent announcement of an Amazon MGM movie adaptation of Polly Pocket. LBI Entertainment, CAA, and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern are her representatives.
