Legendary Football player Cristiano Ronaldo is all set to make his acting debut as he has officially joined the cast of the upcoming Fast and Furious movie, Fast X: Part 2.
Fans of international football and movies were even more excited as the cast members confirmed the announcement.
Tyrese Gibson, who will be seen playing a key role in the film, took to his Instagram and welcomed Ronaldo to the Fast X crew. He shared the picture from the set of the film featuring the cast members, including Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel.
Alongside the pic, he welcomed the Football player to the cast and penned in the caption, “Welcome to the FAMILY! @cristiano the GLOBAL DANCE JUST WENT INTO NEW HEIGHTS!!!!!!”
Previously, Vin Diesel sent the fans into a frenzy after he posted a picture with Ronaldo, fueling speculation about the Football player’s involvement in the project. Sharing the picture, he penned in the caption, “Everyone asked, would he be in the Fast mythology… I gotta tell you he is a real one. We wrote a role for him… @cristiano.”
From its street-racing beginnings in 2001, the Fast and Furious series has developed into a significant worldwide box office powerhouse, renowned for its action scenes and recurrent themes of loyalty and family. The franchise has expanded to ten major films and other spin-offs over the span of more than 20 years, bringing in over $7 billion globally.

Fast X: Part 2 is scheduled for release in April 2027 and is anticipated to be the last part of the main saga.
