Bollywood actress Kiara Advani is gearing up to star alongside Yash in the highly anticipated Toxic – A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. The makers have recently sent the fans into a frenzy with the first look at Kiara Advani from the film.
The official social media handle of Yash gave a first glimpse of Kiara’s character Nadia. The post was captioned, “Introducing Kiara Advani as NADIA in - A Toxic Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups #TOXIC #TOXICTheMovie.”
The new poster reveals a character with deep emotional layers, despite the poster's first placement of her in a beautiful spotlight against a colourful circus setting. A sense of loss and melancholy is hidden beneath the show, indicating a change to a story that is performance-driven.
This nuanced portrayal suggests that Nadia is much more than a typical character, pointing to a pivotal moment that might define the actress's career.
Director Geetu Mohandas talked about Kiara’s character and said, "Some performances don’t just belong to a film, they redefine an artist. What Kiara created on screen in this film is nothing short of transformative. As a director, I am deeply proud of her and for the performance she has delivered, and for the faith and heart she brought into our shared journey.”
Toxic is penned by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas. Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has been filmed simultaneously in English and Kannada, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and several other languages, underscoring its global ambition.
