Kaley Cuoco, known for her role in Big Bang Theory, has recently talked about the lowest point of her life, which occurred in April 2022, just two months before she and her second ex-husband Karl Cook finalised their divorce after three years of marriage.

Kaley recalled she was lying on the floor feeling hopeless at the moment, and she was still residing in their married residence.

During a recent Armchair Expert podcast, the actress admitted, “I was on the floor sobbing, thinking I ruined my whole life. That is the lowest point of my life I ever had. I couldn't get up. I was so depressed.”

In order to get ready for the second season premiere of her HBO Max series, The Flight Attendant, in West Hollywood, the three-time Emmy nominee needed to gather her thoughts.

She recalled, “My hair and makeup girls came over. They were literally doing my hair and makeup on the floor. I said, ‘I can't go.’ I was so sad. The path for me was so complicated. And I just thought, ‘Oh, man, this might've been it for me.’”

Kaley further noted that she has 'not a single bad thing to say about' her ex-husband, saying, “He's amazing.”

Kaley had moved on with MiResource founder Mackenzie Drazan, whom he wed in April 2024, by September 2022. However, the actress was also able to meet her fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, in just two weeks while in Manhattan for the fourth season premiere of his Netflix series Ozark. She met Tom with the support of her manager.

She added while scrolling through his Instagram account, “I get this feeling that I'm gonna spend my life with him. And I texted my best friend, Sasha, in that moment. She still has it, and I said, ‘This is crazy, but I have to put it in writing. I think I'm gonna meet the man I'm gonna spend my life with.’ She goes, ‘What do mean?’ I'm like, ‘Just keep this text.’ And it was Tom. And I met him two weeks later.”

Kaley and Tom will celebrate the third birthday of their daughter, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, on March 30.
