Producer Firoz Nadiadwala has finally regained the rights to several of his iconic films, including Hera Pheri, after settling a long-standing conflict with Eros International.
Over the years, Nadiadwala has produced popular films like Hera Pheri, Awara Paagal Deewana, Phir Hera Pheri, Welcome, and Aan, with some achieving cult status. However, legal disputes with Eros had prevented him from continuing these beloved franchises, particularly Hera Pheri 3.
According to Pinkvilla, Nadiadwala recently cleared his debts and obtained a No Due Certificate from the court, allowing him to regain control over his films. This settlement, which occurred in Mumbai, has opened the path for him to take Hera Pheri 3 to the next stage of development.
Fans have long awaited the return of the iconic trio of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty, and now that the legal hurdles are resolved, the focus can shift to finalizing the script and planning production.
"Hera Pheri 3 is a dream project for not just Firoz, but also the OG trio of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty. They are all ecstatic and happy with the fact that the lien has been paid back by Firoz, and the focus can now shift on creatives and logistics to take the film on floors" source revealed. This legal victory is a significant milestone for Nadiadwala, who has been committed to delivering more entertaining films to his audience.
In addition to Hera Pheri 3, Nadiadwala has also been working on Welcome To The Jungle, the third installment in the Welcome franchise. Akshay Kumar and the team have already completed 70% of the film, with a release expected in late 2025. This jungle-themed comedy is highly anticipated and marks another big project under Nadiadwala’s belt.

This marks a fresh start for the producer, who is eager to continue his legacy of delivering hit films to audiences.
