Bollywood's Marathi mulgi Shraddha Kapoor is celebrating her 38th birthday today and her elder brother Siddhanth Kapoor made it even more special. He took to his social media page to wish his sister 'fishy' with a lovely post.
He shared a beautiful goofy picture with Shraddha and wrote: "Happy Birthday Sister Fishy"
Her 38th birthday coincides with Holi this year.
Talking about Shraddha, she has had a busy year. Shraddha recently wrapped up the shoot of musical biopic Eetha.
Eetha is a biopic on Tamasha artist Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar and it involved intense training for Shraddha.
Shraddha has come a long way from being just a star kid who has found her own identity to become a bankable actress and now an entrepreneur.

Shraddha is the daughter of veteran actor Shakti Kapoor, she made her Bollywood debut with Teen Patti in 2010. While the film tanked at the box office, Shraddha caught attention for her screen presence.
Then three years later in 2013, it was Aashiqui 2 with Aditya Roy Kapur that changed everything for her. She played Aarohi, a small-town singer with big dreams and struck an emotional chord with audiences.
The film’s music became iconic, and Shraddha was suddenly the new face of romantic Bollywood.
Successful films
She followed it up with Ek Villain in 2014, that showcased her softer yet impactful performance. Next came Haider (2014) directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, where she proved she could hold her own in intense cinema.
Shraddha Kapoor stars in a biopic
Shraddha has over the years, balanced romance, drama and commercial entertainers with films like Baaghi, ABCD 2, Stree, Chhichhore and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
It was followed by the massive success of her next big film Stree directed by Aditya Sarpotdar.
It was a movie that changed the course of her career and she is now one of the most bankable female stars in Bollywood.
She was also seen in Stree 2 and the sequel turned out be a blockbuster at the box office in 2024.
Her social media presence reflects that it is filled with candid selfies, goofy videos and heartfelt interactions with fans. Unlike many in the industry, Shraddha keeps her life relatively low-key and infact is hardly seen at any events.

In recent years, Shraddha stepped into the business world with a demi-fine jewellery brand Palmonas that focuses on stylish yet affordable pieces.
The brand reflects her personal aesthetic which is simple, elegant and wearable.
With Palmonas, Shraddha has moved beyond endorsements to take an active role in building something of her own. Palmonas appeals to young women who want trendy jewellery without the intimidating price tag.
Upcoming projects
Shraddha has an exciting lineup in 2026 and 2027. After the success of Stree 2, Shraddha is reportedly exploring scripts across genres.
She is gearing up for Naagin in 2027, which is a supernatural romantic movie directed by Sanket Chaudhary. She is likely to return to the Stree franchise soon.
