  • Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal may join reality show The 50 post-divorce
  • The 50 is an Indian adaptation of Les Cinquante, hosted by Farah Khan
  • No confirmation yet, but speculation has fueled fan interest.

Former couple Dhanashree Verma and Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal may soon find themselves coming face to face with each other, months after officially ending their marriage. According to a report by Siasat, the former couple has been approached for the upcoming reality series The 50, a development that has instantly sparked curiosity across social media and fan circles.

While neither Dhanashree Verma nor Chahal has confirmed participation yet, industry chatter suggests that discussions with the makers are currently underway.

No contracts have been signed so far, but even the possibility of their names being linked to the same project has made the show one of the most talked-about upcoming reality formats.

A possible first reunion after divorce

If the reports turn out to be true, The 50 could mark the first professional reunion between Dhanashree and Chahal since their divorce was finalised in February 2025. Given the personal history they share and the emotional weight surrounding their separation, the idea of them appearing on the same reality show has naturally generated strong reactions.

At the moment, it is unclear whether the makers are keen on casting both together or whether they are being considered individually. However, speculation alone has been enough to push the show into the spotlight, with fans debating whether such a reunion would be awkward, dramatic, or quietly professional.

What is The 50?

The 50 is set to stream on JioHotstar and air on Colors TV. While it shares the broad reality-TV space with shows like Bigg Boss, its format is reportedly very different.

The concept revolves around 50 contestants living together in a lavish, palace-like setting with no fixed rules. The lack of structure is designed to encourage chaos, alliances, and unpredictable strategies. The contestant lineup is expected to include celebrities, social media influencers, and even former Bigg Boss participants.

The show is the Indian adaptation of the French reality series Les Cinquante, which has already seen international success. It also inspired the American version Los 50, which premiered on Telemundo in 2023. The premiere date for the Indian edition is yet to be announced.

The Indian adaptation is going to be hosted by Farah Khan.

Looking back at their separation

Dhanashree and Chahal married in 2020 but parted ways five years later. After the divorce, Dhanashree spoke candidly about the relationship on the reality show Rise and Fall, offering rare insight into the emotional journey behind the split. Her comments added depth to public understanding of their separation, making any potential reunion on a reality show even more compelling.

For now, whether they will actually say yes to The 50 remains uncertain. But the speculation alone has already ensured that all eyes are on the show.
