Ahead of British band Coldplay's highly anticipated concert in Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26, the District Child Protection Unit in Gujarat has issued a notice to the British band, advising them against using children in any form on stage during the performance.
In addition to the notice issued to Coldplay, the organizers of the Ahmedabad concert have been instructed by the District Child Protection Unit to ensure that no children are allowed entry without earplugs or proper hearing protection. This directive follows concerns about the sound levels at the event.
According to an ANI report, the Unit emphasized that sound levels exceeding 120 decibels could cause serious harm to children's health, and the organizers must adhere to these regulations. Furthermore, the concert venue was warned that failure to comply with these rules would result in strict actions by the Child Protection Unit. The notice was prompted by a complaint filed by a Chandigarh resident.
