Tamannaah Bhatia is all set to star in the biopic of renowned director V. Shantaram, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi. The makers also released Tamannaah’s striking first look poster, which featured her as actress Jayashree, Shantaram's second wife.

Tamannaah looked stunning in the poster, which instantly went viral on social media. The actress has now revealed some behind-the-scenes photos from the creation of her first look poster and talked candidly about playing Jayashree in the movie.

The actress took to her Instagram and shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures and videos from the shoot as Jayashree in the V Shantaram biopic. One video captures Tamannaah delicately applying a tiny bindi on her forehead.

In another clip, she is seen checking out the poster images from the photoshoot. She also shared a black-and-white photo of Jayashree, the character Tamannaah portrays in the film.

Alongside the pictures, she penned in the caption, “Every bit of love that we have received on the poster of Jayashree ji for V. Shantaram, is an ode to her. Ode to her grace, and her legacy. Thank you. Stepping into this world has already been intimate and deeply meaningful, even on the early days. V. Shantaram’s vision reshaped cinema long before its time."

Tamannaah added, “Becoming Jayashree has taught me more than I had imagined, and I look forward to everything this journey will continue to bring."

Abhijeet Shirish Deshpande wrote and directed the movie, while Rahul Kiran Shantaram, Subhash Kale, and Sarita Ashwin Varde produced it.
