Bollywood actor Sunny Deol is busy promoting his highly anticipated upcoming film, Border 2.
Following the spectacular debuts of iconic songs, Ghar Kab Aaoge and Jaate Hue Lamhon in Jaisalmer and Mumbai, respectively, the team travelled to Goa, where they honoured the Indian Navy with the Indian battleship INS Vikrant at Karwar Naval Base.
One of the movie's leads, Sunny Deol, posted a unique photo of herself with Indian Navy sailors on Instagram on Wednesday night.
Sharing the pictures on his Instagram, Sunny Deol penned in the caption, “Hindustan Meri Jaan Meri Aa Meri Shaan Hindustan...Pride. Honour. Bravery! #INSVikrant #IndianNavy #Border2.”
Sunny Deol recalled his father Dharmendra's war movie Haqeeqat at a recent event in Jaisalmer, stating that it had a "strong impact" on him as a child and inspired him to make "Border."
According to ANI, the actor said, "I did 'Border' because when I watched my father's (Dharmendra) film 'Haqeeqat', I loved it deeply. I was a child then. So, when I became an actor, I decided to make a film similar to my father's movie. I spoke to J P Dutta, and we decided to make a film on the Longewala subject, which is extremely close to our hearts and lives in the hearts of all of you.”
When considering the influence of the movie Border on young people, Sunny Deol said he never thought it would encourage young people to enlist in the military.

Ahan Shetty, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh are also featured in Border 2, which opens in theatres on January 23.
