Indian actress Sonal Chauhan has safely returned home to India after being stranded in Dubai due to widespread flight cancellations sparked by escalating Middle East tensions involving the United States, Israel and Iran.
Sonal Chauhan’s travel plans were disrupted when major carriers suspended operations and airspace closures left thousands of passengers unable to fly out of the UAE.
The actress provided an update via her Instagram Stories. In the videos, she was seen traveling in a car on her way to the airport. To reassure her fans, she added the song "Coming Home" by Skylar Grey to her post, signaling that she is returning safely.
Earlier this week, Sonal had shared updates from Dubai, explaining that she was among the many travellers affected by the sudden cancellations. She reached out directly to Prime Minister Narendra Modi through Instagram, asking for assistance amid the crisis.
In her message, she wrote, "Hon'ble PM @Narendramodi ji, I'm currently stranded in Dubai amid the ongoing crisis. Flights have been cancelled and no clear way to return to India. I'm seeking the government's guidance and support to help me get back home safely. I would be deeply grateful for any assistance from the Government and guidance for a safe return."

The disruption came after reports of missile interceptions and related military activity in the Gulf region led to temporary closures of key transit hubs, including Dubai International Airport. These closures also left other Indian celebrities, athletes and travellers — such as Esha Gupta and PV Sindhu — in difficult situations abroad until flights were reinstated.
