Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for the highly anticipated action musical, O' Romeo. The film is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and marks the fourth collaboration with the actor.
The latest reports have suggested that the romance drama will hit the theatres next year. O' Romeo is reportedly scheduled to release on February 13, on Valentine’s Day.
The title and first look were revealed by the makers on September 14, which attracted a lot of attention. According to a report, Shahid will be filming intense action scenes for O' Romeo, which is currently in its last phase of production.
According to Mid-Day, Shahid Kapoor and director Vishal Bhardwaj will conduct a brief shoot at Vrundavan Studios in Malad on December 28, which will be the final part of the shoot.
A source told the outlet, “It’s a patch shoot, with some action and dialogue-heavy scenes lined up.”
In this two-day event, the director will primarily concentrate on Kapoor's significant roles. However, Randeep Hooda and Tripti Dimri, the female lead, won't be needed for these roles.
The source added, “That leg will mostly include crowd sequences and scenes with body doubles. If required, the actors may be requested to report for a day or so.”
Shahid Kapoor will play the lead in Vishal Bhardwaj's upcoming action musical O' Romeo, which is supposedly about a flamboyant mobster. Triptii Dimri, Randeep Hooda, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, and Disha Patani make special appearances in the ensemble cast.
Before O' Romeo, Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj's collaborations included films like Kaminey (2009), Haider (2014), and Rangoon (2017).
