Raveena Tandon recently opened up about her long-standing friendships with co-stars Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty, brushing off decades-old rumours of past love triangles and alleged fallouts as simply part of life in the entertainment industry.

In a candid interview with Zoom, the actress reflected on how relationships, break-ups, and link-ups were common ground for many in Bollywood, and how she, Akshay, and Shilpa have all matured and moved on since their earlier days in the spotlight.

Raveena and Akshay’s romantic involvement in the 1990s was one of the most talked-about relationships of that era, with the couple even reportedly becoming engaged before parting ways.

At the time, media speculation also linked Shilpa Shetty into the mix, leading to rumours of tension between the actresses. Raveena dismissed those narratives in her recent conversation, “I think we have all become friends. See, we all were young. We are all in the same industry. Who has not gone through all those things? Whose not gone through link-ups, break-ups, relationships, whose not? Today Akshay and I are friends, Shilpa and I are friends. We're all friends. We've moved on. We're so happy for our families, we're so happy for our children. Akshay and I have just done Welcome 3 and we've enjoyed our whole team, we have laughed through the film, such a funny film. We've really thoroughly enjoyed working together again. Listen, you have to grow up, mature. We're all happy for each other.”

The actress is currently enjoying a renewed work relationship with Akshay Kumar as the two reunite on screen in the upcoming Bollywood entertainer Welcome to the Jungle, set to release later this year. Raveena described the experience as fun and filled with laughter, noting that they had always been good friends and that working together again has been a joyful experience. “We were always very good friends, Akki and me. Always very good friends,” said the actress.
