Rashmika Mandanna is all set to star alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in the highly anticipated Cocktail 2. The actress has recently shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the set of the upcoming sequel.

Rashmika took to her Instagram Story and shared a picture of herself with silly expressions while revving a camera. The actress mentioned the actual DOP of the film, Santhanakrishnan, and penned in the caption, "My 2nd job is secure… No? @santha_dop."

Cocktail 2 is the sequel to the 2012 film Cocktail, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty. The sequel is being directed by Homi Adajania, who also directed the first. Luv Ranjan wrote the script for the movie, which is backed by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films. The plot of the movie has not yet been disclosed by the creators.

Both artistically and commercially, Cocktail was well received, with Deepika receiving particular recognition for her portrayal of the raucous yet fragile Veronica. Diana made her debut in the movie as well. The movie's songs, Tumhi Ho Bandhu, Daaru Desi, and Second-Hand Jawaani, quickly shot to the top of the charts.

Cocktail revolves around Veronica, who welcomes her boyfriend Gautam and her new friend Meera into her home. Though they are happy for a while, their lives get complicated when Gautam falls in love with Meera.

Cocktail 2 is expected to release in the theatres in 2026.

Meanwhile, Rashmika was last seen in The Girlfriend and Thamma. She also has Mysaa in the pipeline. Directed by Rawindra Pulle, the first glimpse of Mysaa will be released on December 24. The makers have recently announced the release date of the teaser, creating a buzz among the fans.
