Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar continues its unstoppable run at the box office, smashing multiple records within days of its release. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the high-octane spy thriller has now registered the biggest second Saturday collection ever, earning an impressive ₹53 crore in a single day and firmly establishing itself as a commercial juggernaut.
With this feat, Dhurandhar has surpassed the second Saturday numbers of several major blockbusters, including Chhaava, Saiyaara, Pushpa 2, Animal, Jawan, Stree, and Gadar 2. Trade experts point out that achieving such figures so early in its theatrical run reflects extraordinary audience demand and sustained momentum across urban and mass centres.
Before Dhurandhar rewrote the record books, Pushpa 2 (Hindi) had set the benchmark for the highest second Saturday collection with ₹46.50 crore. It was followed by Chhaava at ₹44.10 crore, while Stree 2 and Animal recorded ₹33.80 crore and ₹32.47 crore respectively. Other major releases such as Gadar 2, Jawan, and Saiyaara posted second Saturday earnings of ₹31.07 crore, ₹30.10 crore, and ₹27 crore, highlighting the scale of Dhurandhar’s box office achievement.

The film’s strong performance has been consistent both domestically and overseas, contributing significantly to its rapidly growing worldwide total. Within just ten days, Dhurandhar crossed the ₹500 crore global mark, placing it among the fastest Hindi films to reach the milestone.With its domestic earnings now standing at approximately ₹351.75 crore, Dhurandhar has moved past Padmaavat, which concluded its theatrical run at ₹302.15 crore. The milestone makes the spy thriller Ranveer Singh’s spy thriller the highest-grossing film so far in India. Attention has now shifted to the next benchmark — KGF: Chapter 2, whose Hindi version wrapped up its run at ₹435.33 crore.
