Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has achieved a major box office milestone, surpassing Rs 500 crore in worldwide collections by day 10 of its theatrical run. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller has maintained strong momentum both in India and overseas, cementing its position as one of the year’s biggest commercial successes.
The film’s performance has placed it ahead of several recent blockbusters, including Pushpa, Dunki, War, and Coolie, in terms of speed to the Rs 500 crore mark. Trade analysts attribute the impressive numbers to sustained audience interest, strong storyline, and the film’s appeal across mass and urban centres.
Dhurandhar not only crossed the Rs 500 crore mark worldwide but also surpassed the lifetime collections of several major hits from recent years. Its Rs 530 crore haul is higher than the final global collections of Rajinikanth’s Coolie ( Rs 518 crore), Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki ( Rs 470 crore), Hrithik Roshan’s War ( Rs 449 crore), and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise ( Rs 365 crore). Dhurandhar now has only three 2025 releases ahead of it: Kantara Chapter One ( Rs 852 crore), Chhaava ( Rs 808 crore), and Saiyaara ( Rs 579 crore).
According to trade sources, the film has earned over $12 million in the overseas market in 10 days, with more than $4.5 million of that amount coming in during the second weekend alone. The film’s global haul now stands at a staggering Rs 530 crore.
Apart from its box office performance, the film has also generated significant discussion for its intense narrative and performances.
Ranveer Singh’s portrayal of a morally conflicted intelligence operative Hamza has been widely appreciated, while Akshaye Khanna’s role of Remhan Dakait has drawn praise for adding depth to the storyline. Aditya Dhar’s direction has been credited for keeping the film grounded despite its large-scale action.

With the film still running strongly in theatres, trade experts expect ‘Dhurandhar’ to continue adding to its total in the coming days. As competition from new releases remains limited, the spy thriller appears well placed to further consolidate its position among the highest-grossing Hindi films.
