Dhurandhar 2: Borivali multiplex sells tickets at Rs 3,100, highest movie ticket price ever in India

Dhurandhar: The Revenge, sequel to the 2025 superhit movie Dhurandhar, is creating a lot of excitement across India. Eversince its trailer dropped earlier this week, fans have been eagerly waiting to catch the first day first show. But prior to that the makers had also announced the paid previews which are going to be held a day prior to the official release.

The paid preview tickets have been selling fast and now there are reports that the price of a ticket in Mumbai's Inox Megaplex in Sky City Mall, Borivali was as high as Rs 3,100. The theatre was opened in August 2025.

The theater will be showing Dhurandhar: The Revenge at 10:15 pm and 11:15 pm slots.

The tickets for these shows have been priced at Rs. 2,900 and Rs. 3,100. What is more surprising is that people are still buying these tickets.

As per reports, almost all of the tickets were sold out for the 8:30 pm show on March 11, and only one ticket was left for the 10:15 pm and 11:15 pm shows.

This is a record of movie ticket prices in India. The previous record was set when the movie Pushpa 2: The Rule came out in 2024. Then a ticket cost Rs. 3,000. Now, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has broken that record.

Other movie theaters in India are also charging a hefty price for Dhurandhar: The Revenge tickets.

In Bengaluru, tickets cost between Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 2,900. In Mumbai, some movie theaters are selling tickets for Rs. 2,500 and Rs. 2,550.

For example, PVR Lower IMAX is selling tickets for Rs. 2,500. Inox Malad is selling tickets for Rs. 2,200. PVR Versova is selling tickets for between Rs. 1,900 and Rs. 2,100.

In Delhi, some movie theaters selling tickets for between Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 2,400. Smaller movie theaters in Mumbai are also raising their prices because of the popularity of Dhurandhar: The Revenge.

The Gaiety-Galaxy multiplex is now selling balcony tickets for Rs. 220. Maratha Mandir is also doing the same thing.

Some movie theaters are still selling tickets for a low price. Nishat Cinema in Mumbai is selling tickets for Rs. 150, Rs. 180, and Rs. 200.

All of this suggests that Dhurandhar: The Revenge is going to be a big hit. If the audience keep buying tickets like this, the movie might set records for how much money it makes and how many people go see it. Dhurandhar: The Revenge is going to be really big. People are really excited to see Dhurandhar: The Revenge on the big screen.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge will be releasing on 19 March. The movie features Ranveer Singh in the lead.
