Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji began 2026 on a spiritual note as she visited the iconic Dagdusheth Ganpati Temple in Pune ahead of the release of her upcoming film Mardaani 3. The visit on January 17 came as the actress commemorated a remarkable 30-year career in the Hindi film industry and sought divine blessings for her latest project.

Clad in a simple yet elegant outfit, Rani was seen offering prayers and performing aarti inside the temple, a ritual she said she follows whenever she travels for work. Speaking to news agency ANI, the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai star revealed that visiting temples has been a long-standing tradition for her, irrespective of whether a film is about to release.

“I always come here for darshan. Whenever I go to any city—whether a film is releasing or not—I like to visit temples,” Rani said, recalling how she used to visit the Dagdusheth Ganpati Temple frequently during the shooting of her 2012 film Aiyyaa. With Mardaani 3 set for release soon, she said her prayers were heartfelt, not just for the film’s success but for peace, happiness, and well-being for everyone around the world.

“I always pray for peace in the world and happiness for everyone. May Bappa remove the suffering of children and obstacles from people’s lives. Whether a film succeeds or not is in the hands of the audience. I come here to express gratitude,” she said.

The actress also used the occasion to express gratitude to her fans for their enduring love and support throughout her three-decade-long career. “I’ve worked in this industry for 30 years, and this wouldn’t have been possible without Bappa’s blessings and the love of my audience,” she said.

The film is slated to hit theatres on January 30, 2026, coinciding with the celebrations of her professional milestone.
