Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has been captivating the audience for over two decades with her multiple roles. She has also shown her flexibility as a dancer as well as an actor.
Katrina’s stunning dance on Kamli song from Dhoom 3 (2013) is no doubt is her one of her greatest performances.
In addition to making it hard for co-star Aamir Khan to look away throughout the scene, Katrina's effortless dance steps, beauty, and charisma left fans speechless. However, several critics also doubted that it was not Katrina but instead a body double.
During a recent interview with Filmygyan, Shakti Mohan confirmed that although she did help choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant with the song, she was not Katrina Kaif's body double in the song Kamli.
After practising for one and a half months, Katrina performed the song alone. She performed every dance move, with the exception of a few stunts. The crew recruited a French body double to perform the acrobatic manoeuvres. Katrina wanted to film the majority of the song herself, but she ended up with multiple bruises on her body after the session.

Shakti also talked about Katrina’s hard work and said, “There were so many things that a body double could do instead of her, but Katrina insisted that she wants to do. There was this one very difficult step where you were required to do the back arch, but she didn’t give up. She had bruises all over her body. She is very hard-working. Also, after the shoot got over, she sent me a bag to my home with a very nice note.”
Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif was last seen in the movie Merry Christmas in 2024, which also starred Vijay Sethupathi. The actress is currently on a break from acting after she welcomed her first child with Vicky Kaushal.
