Saif Ali Khan has recently opened up about the traumatic incident that nearly claimed his life. The revelation about the knife attack that took place earlier this year at his home when Saif visited Two Much, the talk show hosted by Twinkle Khanna and Kajol. Saif will appear in an upcoming episode alongside his Tashan co-star Akshay Kumar.
In the teaser, Saif is seen recounting the horrifying moment when an intruder entered his home and stabbed him while he tried to protect his son, Jeh. “I got stabbed in my leg and there was blood everywhere,” Saif revealed. “Taimur told me, ‘Are you going to die?’ I said, ‘No, I don’t think so.’” His words left the audience stunned, and Kajol, visibly moved, got up and hugged him as Twinkle Khanna called him a “real hero.”

The shocking attack occurred in January, when the intruder broke into the room of Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s younger son, Jeh. Saif intervened to stop the assailant and sustained multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to the hospital and underwent a five-hour surgery. Fortunately, the actor recovered, though the incident left a lasting emotional impact on his family. Since then, Saif and Kareena have taken strict measures to tighten home security and have urged paparazzi to respect their children’s privacy.
In a previous interview, Saif had reflected on the life-threatening moment, admitting how close it came to tragedy. “There’s this crazy sense of how lucky one is because it was damn close. To walk away relatively unscathed is nothing short of miraculous,” he said. “When I was lying there, my life flashed before my eyes — my school days, travels, my wife, my children… I remember feeling grateful for the life I’ve had.”
