Only a few days after being released from Breach Candy Hospital, where he had been admitted due to breathing issues, the renowned actor passed away on November 24 at the age of 89 at his Mumbai home.

Born to Kewal Krishan Singh Deol and Satwant Kaur, Dharmendra’s journey from Punjab to Mumbai became the stuff of cinematic legend.

Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijayta Deol, and Ajeeta Deol are his four children from his first marriage to Prakash Kaur. Bobby and Sunny both inherited their father's love of films and went on to become well-known figures.

Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, two more Bollywood stars, were born out of his second marriage to Hema Malini, his co-star in multiple classics.
