Punjabi singer AP Dhillon and comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi recently appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show. The singer gave a brief performance of one of his well-known songs throughout the show.

However, not everyone was impressed by the performance; several viewers referred to it as a "horrible" lip-syncing attempt.

Host Kapil Sharma asked AP Dhillon to perform a few lines from one of his songs during the show. He performed 'With You' during the episode. Even though the section seemed to be a live performance, a lot of Reddit users weren't convinced and criticised him for not singing live on the broadcast, accusing him of lip-syncing.

Several social media users pointed out Kapil’s reaction during the performance and wrote, “Lmfao, Kapil looking at him like ‘bro at least pretend to move your lips.’” Another added, “Kapil Sharma is unironically a better singer than him smh...”

Another penned, “Dhillon is staring straight into Kapil's soul while singing; couldn’t even lip-sync properly. Poor Kapil is horrified!”

One person commented, “Kapil is a singer, probably sad seeing this sh*t.” Another said, “McDonald’s of Punjabi music scene.” Another added, “They don’t even know how to lip-sync?”

Sunil Grover also made a humorous version of one of AP's songs during the show. Some of the users praised Sunil and wrote, “Sunil rocked, AP shocked.” Another penned, “Sunil Grover did better than him.”

AP also talked about his travels and hardships during the episode, describing how he worked at a petrol station and lived on the streets when he first arrived in Canada.

He said, “The toughest moment for me was when I first landed in Canada. I had no place to stay. My dad gave me some money, but I was never born with a silver spoon. So, I didn’t have a credit card at that time. I went to a hotel and said, ‘I’d like to stay here, and I have this much cash.’ They asked me for a credit card, and I asked, ‘What’s that?’ They refused to give me a room. So, I stepped outside and slept in front of the hotel.”
