Tension has once again gripped the film industry after a chilling audio message surfaced online, allegedly from a man identifying himself as Hari Boxer of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

In the recording, threats are directed at actor Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Rohit Shetty, with the speaker warning of violent consequences if his demands are not met.

Though, the authenticity of the audio clip cannot be guaranteed. However, the tone and content of the message have sparked concern within the industry.

In the recording, the speaker claims the message is meant for “all of Bollywood” but singles out Ranveer Singh. “Ranveer Singh, we will deal with you in a way that your next seven generations will remember. You are very fond of giving advice and telling people to go file a complaint at the police station. Fine. You filed a complaint too. No problem,” the voice says.

What makes the message particularly disturbing is the threat aimed not just at Ranveer Singh himself, but at those who work around him. “Now listen carefully. We have complete details of every manager and every person who works with you, where they live, when they leave for office, when they return, and where their families stay. We won't say anything to you directly. We will start targeting the people who work under you. Once that happens, you will come to your senses. We will kill your entire staff. Get in line while there is still time,” the audio adds.

Rohit Shetty is also named in the message, with the speaker urging both him and Ranveer Singh to “listen carefully”. The warning further extends to the broader Hindi film fraternity, suggesting repercussions for anyone who ignores calls from the gang.

The name Hari Boxer has surfaced before in similar incidents. It was linked to a firing outside Rohit Shetty’s Mumbai residence, and an earlier audio message had claimed responsibility for a shooting at a café in Canada owned by Kapil Sharma. In that instance too, threats were issued against those associated with Salman Khan.

Security agencies have remained on alert amid repeated threats linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. As of now, Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty have not issued any public statement regarding the latest development.
