Alia Bhatt made headlines at the Red Sea International Film Festival, not just for her glamorous presence but for the candid way she handled personal and sensitive questions. Alia Bhatt answers if she'll ever visit Pakistan?

Alia Bhatt’s appearance at the Red Sea International Film Festival this year turned into quite a talking point, not just because of her glamorous return to the event but also because of how thoughtfully she navigated a series of personal and often delicate questions.

Making her second visit to the festival, the actor spoke with a mix of honesty and composure, revealing how her outlook—both professionally and personally—has evolved in recent years.

As per India Today, during one of the panel interactions, a Pakistani fan asked her directly whether she would consider visiting Pakistan.

Rather than responding directly, Alia gently redirected the discussion to her work, stating that she travels wherever her career takes her.

She said that representing India on international stages felt more like a privilege than a duty when asked if she felt under pressure.

She also said, "bringing something to the table, sab kuch maaf hai (everything is acceptable)" in reference to the perennial issue of nepotism.

Her experience of such events has also changed as a result of becoming a mother. Considering how much has changed since her last visit, Alia revealed that her daughter is now aware of her absence and eagerly inquires about her travel arrangements.

"Now Raha has her own relationship with the paparazzi, and is old enough to ask me where I am going, and when I will be back," she revealed, offering a tender glimpse into her life as a working mother.

Alia also spoke about the importance of authenticity—something she says lies at the heart of her performances and public interactions.

Regardless of whether the response is positive or negative, she claims that audiences react most strongly to sincere emotion.

Even at high-profile international events like Cannes and the Met Gala, she prefers to end the night on a humble note, often slipping into pyjamas and enjoying pizza once the cameras are off.

Looking back at her early twenties, she admitted she was "all over the place," full of enthusiasm and eager to try everything. Now, she says, "I’m still enthusiastic and full of beans, but the approach is more silent," hinting at a more deliberate and thoughtful phase in her career.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt is currently working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War.
