Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai recently attended the Red Sea International Film Festival. The actress turned heads at the event and graced the stage.
During the event, the actress talked about how engaging with a large number of people in the virtual world could not be fulfilling and that people needed to realise they should not stop engaging in real life.
Aishwarya said, “Engaging with a multitude out there in that virtual universe cannot be fulfilling. People need to realise that you cannot stop engaging for real. Engage with people around you, engage with the person in front of you."
The actress also suggested that it was rude to completely disengage from the person in front of you just to respond to something on the phone, and stressed that it was perfectly fine if people did not like or watch her posts.
“It is rude to kind of, you know, completely disengage with the person in front and feel it's so much more important at that minute to respond to something else on the phone. It's alright if you're not giving me likes, not watching my posts, it's fine. Please engage with people around you,” continued the actress.
Aishwarya further noted, “That is so much more important, and I will applaud that and back that any day to you sitting and looking at even my posts, okay? So love you all. Please engage with people in your life.”
On the work front, Aishwarya appeared in the 2023 release Ponniyin Selvan 2, continuing her long-standing presence on the big screen.
