Bollywood’s musical romance Saiyaara — starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda — has made a surprise return to cinemas across India just ahead of Valentine’s Day 2026, nearly seven months after its original release. The limited theatrical re-release runs from February 7 to 13, offering audiences a second opportunity to watch the film that became one of the biggest romantic hits of 2025. Showtimes are currently available in key cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Pune, according to online booking platforms such as BookMyShow.

Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF), Saiyaara originally released on July 18, 2025 and quickly became a phenomenon at the box office. The musical drama — featuring a love story between a struggling musician Krish (played by Ahaan Panday) and an aspiring journalist Vaani (played by Aneet Padda) — linked emotional depth with memorable songs, resonating strongly with young audiences and critics alike. During its initial run, the film went on to gross over Rs 569–577 crore worldwide, emerging as one of the top grossers of the year and the highest-earning romantic film in Indian cinema history.

While YRF hasn’t made an official announcement about the re-release, exhibitors have quietly listed limited screenings, suggesting a strategic move to capture the Valentine’s week crowd. Many fans who may have missed the film during its first run are booking tickets to relive its romantic narrative on the big screen, and social media chatter reflects excitement about seeing the emotional journey of Krish and Vaani again.

The story of Saiyaara follows Krish and Vaani as their professional collaboration on a musical piece evolves into a deep romantic connection — one that is tested by life’s unforeseen challenges. Praised especially for the chemistry between its two leads and its evocative soundtrack, the film helped launch Ahaan Panday’s Bollywood career and marked Aneet Padda’s first major leading role.

On the work front, Aneet is set to begin shooting for this female-driven action-drama in March 2026. The film is part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe and stars Vishal Jethwa opposite her, marking her next big project after Saiyaara. Whereas, as per reports, Ahaan is gearing up to star in an action-romance film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, with filming expected to begin in early 2026.
