Bollywood actress and Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) candidate from Mandi Kangana Ranaut has refuted all reports that she consumes beef (cow meat) or any other kind of meat.
The “Queen” actress took to her X account and said she is a vegetarian and wrote: “I don’t consume beef or any other kind of red meat. It is shameful that completely baseless rumours are being spread about me. I have been advocating and promoting a yogic and Ayurvedic way of life for decades now. Such tactics won’t work to tarnish my image. My people know me, and they know that I am a proud Hindu, and nothing can ever mislead them. Jai Shri Ram.”
Kangana wrote this in reaction to Congress leader Vijat Wadettiwar’s statement that Kangana Ranaut used to eat beef earlier, and an old statement of hers is being circulated too.
While writing on X, a verified account by the name of Bloggingpanda wrote: “You are lying!! You do eat it; here is the proof!!”

Talking about Kangana, she recently bought a new luxury Mercedes Maybach worth Rs 2.96 crore, approx.
The actress was seen in her new car on Sunday (April 7) evening.
National Award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut is going to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, on the BJP's ticket. She is getting a lot of support from the women in her area and has been seen campaigning too. Kangana also enjoyed a meal with the party workers during her election campaign.
Reports also suggest that Kangana Ranaut might give up her Bollywood career to pursue politics completely, but nothing has been confirmed. She has been producing films under the banner "Manikarnika Films," which she launched in 2020. She had recently produced "Tiku Weds Sheru" in 2023, which had Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneer Kaur in the leads.
