Actress-producer Anushka Sharma and cricket legend Virat Kohli were two of the many famous people seen on the court at Wimbledon 2025 on Monday, July 7, when Novak Djokovic defeated Australia's Alex de Minaur in an exciting comeback.

Currently in London with Anushka and their family, Virat was spotted wildly applauding from the Centre Court stands.

Clearly moved by the Serbian’s determination, Kohli later took to Instagram to praise the tennis legend, writing, “What a match, it was business as usual for the gladiator @djokernole.”

The power couple made a stylish appearance, effortlessly blending elegance with understated flair. Virat wore a well-tailored tan brown blazer over a crisp white shirt, completed with a subtly patterned grey tie. His coordinated tan trousers and neatly groomed hair and beard added to his polished look.

Anushka looked stunning in a white structured blazer and matching white top. She wore minimal and fresh makeup, and her soft curls delicately framed her face. With summery elegance, she finished the look with a stylish straw sun hat next to her, oversized sunglasses, a delicate chain bracelet, and gold hoops.

The already star-studded atmosphere of Wimbledon's opening week was made even more glamorous by their appearance. Global celebrities Sir David Beckham, Rebel Wilson, Cate Blanchett, Priyanka Chopra, and Nick Jonas were also seen there. The Royal Box was bustling with style, celebrity, and elegance as usual.

For the unaware, the 24-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic lost the opening set 1-6 but recovered with accuracy and fortitude to win the next three sets 6-4, 6-4, 6-4.

“Roger is a huge champion. Every time I play here, I think of his legacy.”

With thrilling tennis and high-wattage spectators, Wimbledon 2025 continues to serve up excitement both on and off the court.
