Anupamaa actor Manish Goel reacts to quitting the show after a fallout with Rupali Ganguly, says "you were already informed..."

Manish Goel is rumored to quit Anupamaa

Television actress Rupali Ganguly's starrer Anupamaa is one of the fans’ favourite shows, and the recent reports about one of its actors have sparked curiosity among the fans.

There have been rumours swirling around that Manish Goel, who plays the role of Raghav, is planning to leave the show after his alleged fight with Rupali Ganguly.

According to India Forums reports, a source claimed, “Manish and Rupali had differences, which is why he will be quitting the show and the show will take another leap then.”

However, now Manish has come forward to address the rumours. He debunked the quitting rumors and said, “I have 6 scenes today and I have already done 4 scenes."

The actor explained further that he was supposed to make a cameo appearance in the show, with his character being planned for around four months.

He said, “Out of which, I have completed 3 months. When a cameo of an actor is extended, it works excellently for them and if it is not, then also fine, you were already informed about the same in advance. So yeah, that’s about it. Not quitting as of now, no information on the leap too.”

However, Manish also debunked the fallout with Rupali Ganguly, calling it “completely false.”

He said, “Rupali aur meri pehchaan aaj ki nahi hai. I have known her since I have landed in Mumbai. This is the fourth time I am working with her. Usually, there is no fire without spark but in this case, there is neither spark nor fire, I do not know why do people spread such things. This is false."

Meanwhile, previous rumours suggested Rupali Ganguly wasn't on good terms with her Anupamaa co-star Sudhanshu Pandey, who left the show in 2024.
