The highlight of the event? A high-energy fugdi dance performed by Akshay Kumar along with his veteran co-star Nana Patekar. The dance not only showcased Akshay’s trademark enthusiasm but also brought a traditional touch to the film’s promotional campaign. The moment was captured on video and shared widely online, instantly trending across platforms. In the same video, Akshay is also seen performing the lively Maharashtrian folk dance with Fardeen Khan, adding to the fun and frenzy.

True to the franchise’s over-the-top and zany nature, the promotions were anything but ordinary. Akshay also encouraged his female co-stars Jacqueline and Nargis to participate in the fugdi, much to the audience’s delight. Their lively performances drew the loudest cheer from the crowd and were praised for bringing desi vibes to the promotional stage.

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 is set to hit theatres on June 6, 2025. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala revealed that the idea stems from his 30 years of experience and a desire to deliver a unique theatrical experience. According to him, no better genre than a thriller comedy could have carried this experiment.
