Both actors shared a warm camaraderie throughout the event, as they were paired together in the movie's highly acclaimed performances. The media captured several moments of the three – Aishwarya, Aaradhya, and Vikram – seated together, looking thrilled and proud.

During her acceptance speech, Aishwarya expressed her deep gratitude to SIIMA for honoring her work. She emphasized the significance of her role as Nandini in "Ponniyin Selvan: II," describing it as a film that holds a special place in her heart, especially under the guidance of her long-time mentor, Mani Ratnam. She acknowledged the importance of the film not just for herself, but for the entire team, highlighting how much she cherished working on the project.

Apart from the award ceremony, Aishwarya and Aaradhya were seen mingling with fans and taking selfies outside the venue, showing their generous spirit and connection with their admirers. Their stylish black outfits were a topic of discussion, though some fashion critics gave mixed reviews about the outfits.

Vikram’s arrival at the event and his greeting of Aishwarya and Aaradhya also gained attention on social media. The actor was seen warmly interacting with Aaradhya, holding her hand as they shared a moment together. The trio’s appearance together became a fan-favorite moment, further amplified by the fact that Aishwarya and Vikram were previously seen paired together in the epic Tamil saga.

This year's SIIMA Awards was not just an awards night but a family affair for Aishwarya, as Aaradhya was actively involved, supporting and celebrating her mother's big win. The close bond between the two was evident, and the social media was abuzz with pictures and videos of Aaradhya's enthusiastic role as Aishwarya’s biggest fan, capturing all the important moments on her phone.

Aishwarya’s black embellished anarkali, though elegant, had a few critics questioning the overall look. However, fans defended her timeless style, appreciating how she managed to look regal and poised. Aaradhya's matching attire also became the talk of the town, with many praising the duo’s twinning outfits.

The success of "Ponniyin Selvan: II," where Aishwarya portrayed dual roles – Nandini and Mandakini Devi – was a major highlight of her career, and her win at SIIMA 2024 was a fitting tribute to her hard work and dedication to the film. The movie, based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s Tamil novel, featured an ensemble cast, including Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, and Trisha, and was widely praised for its storytelling and visual grandeur.
