Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Metro In Dino is set to release in 2025

Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan join the cast of Metro In Dino

Actor Aditya Roy Kapur will finally return to the big screen after around two years of hiatus. The actor will star in Metro In Dino alongside Sara Ali Khan. Fans have been waiting for the film since last year, but there has been a delay in the release.

However, rumors have recently suggested that the film could be pushed to 2026, but the makers of the film have set the record straight.

T-Series has released an official statement confirming that the post-production is on track and the film will release in 2025. The statement reads, “On the contrary to some media reports claiming that ‘Metro In Dino’ is getting pushed, we confirm the movie is releasing this year in 2025.”

However, the makers haven’t revealed the exact release date of the film. Meanwhile, ETimes has previously reported that Metro In Dino, which was earlier scheduled to release in 2024, might be pushed to 2026 with Anurag Basu shifting his focus to his next project, starring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela.

Along with Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan, Metro In Dino features an ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sensharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the key role.

The upcoming film is produced by Bhushan Kumar under the T-Series banner. Metro In Dino is reportedly a spiritual follow-up to Life in a Metro, tackling contemporary romance themes. Similar to the 2007 film, the soundtrack of Metro In Dino is also crafted by renowned composer Pritam.
