The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2024 commenced on August 15th in Melbourne, Australia. The star-studded event saw the participation of renowned Indian filmmakers and actors including Ram Charan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kartik Aaryan, Imtiaz Ali, Karan Johar, Kabir Khan, and Shoojit Sircar. Newbie actor Lakshya experienced a classic fanboy moment when he encountered his idol, Ram Charan at the ongoing film festival.

Telugu superstar Ram Charan has been bestowed with the prestigious title of Ambassador for Indian Art and Culture at the 15th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM). This recognition is a testament to his significant contributions to Indian cinema and his growing global influence.

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2024 officially announced the list of winners on August 16. While Kartik Aaryan won the Best Actor award for Chandu Champion, Laapataa Ladies won the award for Best Film Critics Choice.
