Abhay Verma and Nitanshi Goel to collaborate for a new project

Abhay Verma and Nitanshi Goel are currently the rising stars in Bollywood, with the duo receiving praise for their performances in their debut films. However, Abhay and Nitanshi have reported to have already bagged a new project.

Abhay and Nitanshi were reportedly approached for an upcoming love story. The upcoming untitled film is reported to be directed by Ratna Sinha under the banner of Benaras Media.

Meanwhile, a source close to the production has revealed that the upcoming untitled project will be the second instalment of Sinha’s much-loved romantic drama Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana.

The sources further revealed that the upcoming sequel promises a fresh take on love and choices. This time, a younger and more talented cast is expected to steal the audience’s hearts.

However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement.

Meanwhile, the original Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana film starred Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda in the pivotal roles and was re-released in March. The film was a blockbuster hit and received praise for the unique plot.

On the work front, Abhay Verma is still riding on the success of his 2024 film, Munjya, and has a series of exciting projects in his pipeline. He will be next seen in King, Safed Sagar, JC and Laikey Laikaa.

Meanwhile, Nitanshi Goel made her acting debut with Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies and instantly became the fans’ favourite. She has also created history by becoming the youngest Indian actor to attend her Cannes Film Festival debut at 17.
