Broadway’s golden couple Aaron Tveit and Ericka Hunter Yang have taken their love story to the next stage, marriage. The two quietly tied the knot in June, months after welcoming their daughter, and only recently shared the joyful news with fans

A Wedding With Family at the Center

Aaron, 41, and Ericka, 43, kept things intimate with a ceremony at the Carlyle Hotel’s Milling Room restaurant in New York City. But the real stars of the night were their daughter and their dog Miles.

The couple shared the wedding pictures on social media, captioning it, "We made it official."

“One of the most important aspects of our wedding day for us was that our daughter and our dog could be a part of it all,” Aaron told Vogue. Miles left after the vows, while the little one almost made it to dessert before bedtime.

In fact, Aaron walked down the aisle holding his daughter. He later captioned the moment on Instagram: “My daughter walking me down the aisle, hoping one day I’ll get to return the favor.”

A Look Back at Their Love Story

Aaron and Ericka’s romance reads like a Broadway script. The pair first crossed paths in 2009 while rehearsing for the Tony Awards but admitted they were too young to pursue something serious. “We went on a couple of fun dates, but were both so young,” Ericka recalled.

Fast forward a decade, and the two reconnected while working together on Moulin Rouge! The Musical. By 2019, sparks flew again — and this time they stuck. Aaron popped the question in September 2023, after four years together.

Why They Finally Said "I Do"

Plans for the wedding had been delayed with the arrival of their daughter, but in the end, Aaron says she was the reason to move forward. “We wanted to celebrate our love with our people,” he told Vogue.

For the big day, Aaron wore a Berluti tuxedo, while Ericka stunned in a vintage Oscar de la Renta gown paired with Jimmy Choo heels and a delicate veil.
